Hanbin Ma received his PhD degree in Engineering in 2014 from University of Cambridge, UK. In 2018, he moved to the Chinese Academy of Sciences to take up the Hundred Talent Professor in CAS Key Laboratory of Bio-Medical Diagnostics, Suzhou Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Technology. From 2008 to 2009, he worked as a Research Assistant in Suzhou Institute of Nano-tech and Nano-Bionics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. From 2014 to 2018, he was supported by Isaac Newton Trust and other projects at the University of Cambridge as a Research Fellow. In 2015, he has co-founded Acxel Tech Ltd, a university spin-out in Cambridge. His current research interests cover the design and implementation of novel heterogeneously integrated biosensing systems and the development of large-area electronics-based microfluidics systems.
