Biography

Professor Zheng Cui had his PhD in 1988 and came to work in the UK in 1989, first at Cambridge University and later at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory. In 2009 he joined the Suzhou Institute of Nanotech and Nanobionics, where he set up the Printable Electronics Research Center which was then the first center dedicated to printed electronics R&D in China. The Center has been focusing on research themes ranging from electronic ink formulation to printing process development and applications, incuding printed solar cells, printed thin-film transistors, printed organic light emission and display, and printed flexible stretchable wearable electronics. He has published 8 books (English and Chinese) and more than 250 technical papers in fields of micro/nanofabrication and printed electronics.
